We investigate several geometric properties of a K-contact manifold equipped with an SSNM connection and provide a concrete example to justify the relation between the scalar curvature of the SSNM connection and Levi-Civita connection that we have obtained in this paper. Furthermore, we have found the nature of Riemann solitons, conformal Ricci solitons and conformal η-Ricci-Yamabe solitons on K-contact manifolds admitting a SSNM connection.\\ Finally, we determine the necessary and sufficient conditions for such a manifold to be Tildeτ-semi-symmetric, quasi-conformal-semi-symmetric and pseudo-projective-semi-symmetric.

Various curvature tensors with respect to Levi-Civita connection on the space form are derived in this paper. We have shown that if an odd-dimensional Lorentzian trans-Sasakian space form admits a hyperbolic Ricci soliton and hyperbolic conformal Ricci soliton then they will be η-Einstein. We also obtained the conditions for the solitons to be expanding, steady or shrinking. Finally, an example has been constructed which justifies the results obtained.

Nature of Some Solitons on Almost coKähler Manifolds and Asymptotically Harmonic Manifolds

Paritosh Ghosh, Hemangi Madhusudan Shah, Arindam Bhattacharyya — In this research, we study the nature of η-Einstein and gradient η-Einstein soliton in the framework of almost coKähler manifolds and (κ, μ)-almost coKähler manifolds. We find some expressions for scalar curvature of the almost coKähler manifold admitting η-Einstein soliton in various cases. We also prove that if a (κ, μ)-almost coKähler manifold admits a gradient η-Einstein soliton, then either the manifold is coKähler, or N(κ)-almost coKahler, or the soliton is trivial. We present an example which validates our results. Finally, we investigate the asymptotically harmonic manifolds admitting non-trivial Ricci solitons and show that they exhibit rigid behavior if for example, scalar curvature attains maximum.

Geometry of para-Sasakian metric as an almost conformal η-Ricci soliton

Sumanjit Sarkar, Santu Dey, Arindam Bhattacharyya — In this paper, we initiate the study of conformal η-Ricci soliton and almost conformal η-Ricci soliton within the framework of para-Sasakian manifold. We prove that if para-Sasakian metric admits conformal η-Ricci soliton, then the manifold is η-Einstein and either the soliton vector field V is Killing or it leaves φ invariant. Here, we have shown the characteristics of the soliton vector field V and scalar curvature when the manifold admitting conformal η-Ricci soliton and vector field is pointwise collinear with the characteristic vector field ξ. Next, we show that a para-Sasakian metric endowed an almost conformal η-Ricci soliton is η-Einstein metric if the soliton vector field V is an infnitesimal contact transformation. We have also displayed that the manifold is Einstein if it represents a gradient almost conformal η-Ricci soliton. We have developed an example to display the alive of conformal η-Ricci soliton on 3-dimensional para-Sasakian manifold.
