AMS Special Session on Geometric Analysis

A special session on geometric analysis at the AMS Fall Western Sectional Meeting. The flow talks are Kyeongho Bang, Eric Chen and Wenkui Du on ancient Ricci flows on surfaces with boundary, Max Hallgren on shrinker–expander soliton pairs in the analytic minimal model program, Arjun Sobnack on delayed parabolic regularity for geometric flows, and Theodora Bourni and Yi Lai on ancient solutions of mean curvature flow. The other talks are on minimal surfaces, eigenvalues and curvature.

Geometric Analysis Days (JAG 2027)

The third Journées d'Analyse Géométrique, a yearly meeting of the geometric analysis community in France. Its announcement counts Perelman's proof of geometrization via Hamilton's Ricci flow among the field's milestones, and Laurent Bessières, co-author of the monograph Geometrisation of 3-Manifolds, sits on the scientific committee.

AMS Special Session on Recent Trends in Metric Geometry and Topology

Two sessions at the 2027 Joint Mathematics Meetings, mainly on metric geometry and topology. The flow talks are both in the morning: Alexander Mramor on an ancient stacked pancake solution to mean curvature flow, and Christine Guenther on stability of geometric flows, with new results for Ricci flow on 4-dimensional spaces with bounded geometry.

AMS Special Session on Geometric Inequalities, Convergence, and Scalar Curvature

Two sessions at the 2027 Joint Mathematics Meetings, mainly on scalar curvature, minimal surfaces and geometric inequalities. The one flow talk is in the afternoon: Lawrence Mouillé, with Eric Cochran, Arseny Mingajev and Nazia Valiyakath, on normalized Ricci flow on homogeneous spaces whose isotropy representation has two equivalent summands, including the stability of Einstein metrics.

AMS Special Session on Recent Advances on Geometric Variational Problems and Curvature

Two sessions (morning and afternoon) at the 2027 Joint Mathematics Meetings. The flow talk is “Non-Kähler Ricci flows from singular Kähler initial metrics” by Richard Bamler, Eric Chen and Ronan Conlon. The official description also lists geometric flows among its topics, alongside minimal and prescribed-mean-curvature hypersurfaces, isoperimetric and free-boundary problems, and scalar and Ricci curvature rigidity.

Local and Nonlocal Minimal Surfaces and Geometric Flows

Differential Geometry Workshop in Lerici 2027

Geometric Applications of Geometric Flows

A general geometry conference with geometric flows as its unifying theme, marking 100 years since Gösta Mittag-Leffler's death. The official description cites the proof of geometrisation by Ricci flow, the 1/4-pinched sphere theorem via Ricci flow and isotropic curvature, and the Riemannian Penrose inequality via inverse mean curvature flow. Summer Graduate School: Ricci Flow and Ricci Solitons

Organised by Bennett Chow, Yi Lai and Ovidiu Munteanu. A two-week graduate school on the basic theory of Ricci flow and Ricci solitons, from the fundamental estimates to the construction of new solitons, including flying wing solitons, with a foundational track and an advanced track plus daily problem sessions. Students are nominated through their department (nominations open 1 December 2026); no prior knowledge of Ricci flow is assumed.

Geometry and Analysis conference in honor of Gang Tian

Thematic Program: Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics

A six-month programme where geometric analysis meets physics, with a summer school in August and week-long workshops on Calabi–Yau manifolds and special Lagrangians, special geometries in dimensions 6, 7 and 8, and holography. Differentialgeometrie im Grossen
